“Prison is where you promise yourself the right to live.”
I only ever wanted to visit the most unimaginable, most remote places one can go. Ever since I was a child my imagination was made of these pieces that drew and shaped a map that doesn’t exist in the physical world. I’ve been to the Alti Plano of South America, ridden alone for weeks through Himalayan frontiers to the border of The Lost Kingdom, and tonight I make my bed in Ethiopia wanting to be with naked and wild African tribes. These places are remote, but they are ultimately remote parts of myself where we don’t ordinarily go. I want what I do in this life to have meaning. I want my life to have meaning. I want it to mean something. I’ve traveled to search for a state of mind.
